My MTB Gear

I ride a 2014 Airborne Seeker, a XC hardtail 29er:

Right now it’s stock except for a Lizard Skins chainstay protector, 2.3in Geax Gato tire up front, and terrible entry-level Wellgo pedals.

I typically ride with the following:

• Fox Dirtpaw gloves
• Park Patch Kit
• Crank Brothers Multi-Tool
• Pump Me Up Mini-Pump

All that gets shoved (with first aid kit + snacks) into my Osprey Talon 22, which I absolutely love for hiking but is a little big for biking—still saving up for something smaller. In the Talon I often also have my really nice 3L Platypus Big Zip for water (I’m not the only one who loves this combo!).

Top of my upgrade wishlist: shorter stem + wider bar (105mm and 660mm currently)
